How Clooney was asked by international prosecutor to spy on Colonel Gaddafi in Libya!?
He asked Hollywood actor to use commercial satellites to document evidence of war crimes committed by Gaddafi and his general during Libyan civil war.
ELAC commentary:
The 40,000 documents in question shed light on Ocampo’s contacts with American actors George Clooney, Sean Penn, Angelina Jolie or the creator of the eBay website Pierre Omidyar, among others. Clooney himself is one of the founders of the Satellite Sentinel Project (SSP) project, which aims to use commercial satellites to record war crimes in South Sudan.
According to the archives revealed, Ocampo asked before leaving the ICC to Clooney that in the framework of the SSP project gathered evidence of the alleged atrocities committed by the Libyan expresidiente Muammar Gaddafi. The former chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court had urged the Hollywood actor to use several commercial satellites in Libya and « put pressure on Gaddafi’s generals » with evidence of « humanitarian crimes. »
